Working principle of permanent magnetic couplers
Permanent magnet couplings are widely used in a variety of general-purpose machinery to connect two shafts so that they rotate together to transmit torque and motion. Conventional couplings have to transmit torque through the interconnection of the main shaft and the driven shaft, which has a complex structure, high manufacturing precision, and can easily lead to the destruction of components when overloaded. Especially when the main shaft and the driven shaft work in two different media that need to be isolated from each other, sealing elements must be used for dynamic sealing, so that there is either an increase in rotational resistance to ensure that the sealing is reliable, or sealing is not tight to produce leakage problems.
Magnetic drive coupling is a non-contact coupling, it is generally composed of two magnets inside and outside, the middle of the isolation cover will be separated from the two magnets, the inner magnet is connected to the driven parts, and the outer magnet is connected to the power parts. Magnetic drive coupling has the function of cushioning and vibration absorption of elastic coupling, but its biggest feature is that it breaks the structure form of traditional coupling, adopts the new magnetic coupling principle, realizes the transmission of force and torque between the active shaft and the driven shaft without direct contact, and can be transformed into static sealing, realizing zero leakage.
Applications: Applicable to bear variable load impact and frequent starting and forward and reverse occasions, also applicable to the two axes can not be strictly centered occasions. Especially suitable for occasions with special requirements for leakage.
Permanent magnet coupling is mainly composed of three parts: inner rotor, isolation sleeve, and outer rotor.
Inner rotor: generally made of 304 or 316L stainless steel materials, liquid-connected parts are made of stainless steel, welded light welding sealing test treatment, to improve anti-corrosion performance, improve product life.
Isolation sleeve: PEEK or 304/316 stainless steel.
Outer rotor: magnet with NI plating, and external spray paint, generally use Q235 material to achieve the purpose of magnetic isolation.
